Mystic India

Introduction

The Portuguese explorer Vasco de Gama was the first European to discover this lush green slither of land on the Arabian Sea. Crisscrossed with rivers, lagoons and backwaters it creates an ideal backdrop for fabulous photographic opportunities.

This area is rich in local produce with plantations of cashew, coconut and rubber. The vegetation is lush and the people are vibrant and friendly. This part of the world is well known for its dance and drama and we will be there to shoot it.

Our time here will be split equally between capturing the flavour and essence of the local culture and people and visiting a tiger reserve to shoot wildlife.

With fabulous light and so many interesting subjects this trail is ideal for anyone interested in travel or cultural photography as well any photographer keen to get shots of tigers.
